The Vice Presidents
… act on the President’s behalf in her absence and assist the President in attending official appointments, with the meetings and specific IWAM correspondence.
The Secreatry … takes minutes at all meetings, issues notices as directed by the Board and keeps a record of the by-laws. She assists the President in the preparation of correspondence and presents a summary of pertinent decisions made at Board meetings.
The Membership Chairperson
… often is the first board member met by new members and guests. She makes prospective IWAM members aware of IWAM’s policies and membership requirements and keeps registration forms and the membership records updated.
… is responsible for all the financial accounts of IWAM, manages the IWAM bank account and petty cash as designated by the Board. She receives all money paid to IWAM and submits statements of accounts and financial reports to the Board and the members at their meetings.
The Vice Treasurer … acts on behalf of the Treasurer in her absence and must be prepared to fulfill all duties. She produces a quarterly tax report for submission to the relevant government authority.
The Events Chairperson
The Projects Chairperson …is responsible for facilitating the activities of the projects committee. She ensures that the projects committee assesses proposals received and selects those that reflect IWAM’s objectives and keeps a record of charitable causes.
The Public Relations Chairperson
… is responsible for all public relations issues (website, newsletter, Facebook page, news update, and advertising) and may enlist the help of assistants. She ensures that the public image reflects IWAM’s objectives and keeps a record of all published information.
